Como’s social theater

The Teatro Sociale stands opposite the Duomo, in a unique setting, just metres from the shores of Lake Como, Inaugurated in 1823, the theatre still boasts many of the traits that made it one of Italy’s most important. This magical setting, which bore witness to the efforts of some of Italy’s most famous composers (Toscanini, Muti) and musicians (Paganini), now houses Essepi’s “Como” seats.

The seats designed along the same classical lines as its predecessors in the theatre, contribute to the preservation of this extraordinary building’s original style, proudly intact in its timeless charm.

The “Como” seats include an innovative recessed-release system which means the seats can be seamlessly removed and the floor used for other purposes.
